1. Consultancy Opportunity: Project Coordinator
Positive Care and Development Foundation (PCDF) (PCDF) is a non-governmental organization established in 2002 and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2008. PCDF vision is targeted at “a world devoid of stigma and discrimination where fundamental human rights are protected”.
Location: Kaduna, Niger, or Ekiti State (with travel across North & South project sites)
Reports to: Executive Director
Consultancy Fee Range: ₦300,000 – ₦500,000 per month
Role Summary
PCDF seeks a Project Coordinator (Consultant) to lead its programs in both the North and South. The consultant will ensure strong coordination, daily project tracking, stakeholder engagement, and achievement of performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate planning and implementation of PCDF programs across states.
- Strengthen program systems for effective and accountable delivery.
- Supervise and support field teams for high performance.
- Drive grassroots mobilization to escalate target achievement.
- Conduct daily project tracing, monitoring, and reporting.
- Engage stakeholders, government, and community leaders.
- Contribute to fundraising, proposal writing, and donor reporting.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong program coordination and leadership.
- Proven system strengthening and project management skills.
- Basic monitoring, evaluation, and research skills.
- Community mobilization and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent program writing, reporting, and fundraising ability.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and project tracking tools.
- Hausa or Yoruba language skills (added advantage).
- Target-driven and results-oriented.
Qualifications
- B.Sc./HND in Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ consultancy or project coordination experience.
- Postgraduate degree or project management certification (advantage).

2. Program Assistants

Location: Biase, Akamkpa II, Akpabuyo, Bakassi, Odukpani and Calabar South LGAs.
Duration: 3 Months (Consultancy)
Role Summary
Program Assistants will lead grassroots mobilization and active HIV/TB/DR-TB case finding at ward and village level, directly engaging WDCs, traditional leaders, and community volunteers.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobilize communities for HIV/TB/DR-TB case finding and linkage.
- Enroll and supervise 5 volunteers per ward
- Achieve set daily and weekly case-finding targets.
- Report progress daily to the Program Manager in Calabar.
- Ensure compliance, accurate and complete documentation of all project activities using the relevant tools and materials designed for the project.
- Facilitate verification of monthly community data with facility
- Submit quality and timely Program weekly report before 12 noon every Friday of the week, also monthly Program and program report every month
- Perform any other duty that may be assigned by the organization.
- Facilitate data entry and update on the COMM-TB App on weekly basis
- Facilitate referrals and linkages for increased uptake of TB/HIV services between community members, health workers, DOT staff and HIV support groups.
- Participate in monthly data quality exercise.
- Participate in morning situation meeting
Requirements
Minimum: SSCE/Diploma (must be able to read and write).
Advantage
- HND/B.Sc. in Social Sciences, Public Health, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of local communities.
